I had a wonderful bus driver today. He was very enthusiastically welcoming to each person as we got on the bus. He also said goodbye to everybody. At one stop he said, “enjoy your blessings!” The bus usually drops me about half a block from the hospital. It was raining today, and he asked me if I was going to the hospital. Then he yelled out, “courtesy stop!” and drove me the extra half a block so I wouldn’t have to get wet. What a great way to start the day.
Also, there was a guy (not my patient) who smelled so strongly of pot, I would have guessed he was actively smoking except I could see he wasn’t. When patients sign in, there is a space to write down the transport company that brought them. He put down space ship. 🙂
