The Hobbit
I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness and love. -Gandalf Advertisements
Good Books
I recommended that my sister read “I Thought It Was Just Me” and she said it is probably the best self help book she ever read. 🙂
Old Friends
Today I went to get an oil change and the guy who changed my oil was a friend from band in high school. It was fun to see him again.
Happy birthday Jesus!
My family has had a birthday cake for Jesus and sung happy birthday and Boolah Boolah to him every Christmas Eve as long as I can remember.
Early to Bed
Tuesday I wasn’t feeling great but I was able to get to bed before 8 and it helped so much!
Snowshoes!
I got snowshoes on Monday! And Rhinelander has snow so I’ll be able to use them. 🙂
Caroling
Tonight the youth group went Christmas caroling at a local nursing home. They were very appreciative and were singing along. It is good to be reminded that something simple can make such a difference.
